Founded in 1977, AspenOUT is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting tolerance, understanding, and diversity through education and community action. Best known for organising the annual Aspen Gay Ski Week, AspenOUT advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights and supports rural and underserved communities through initiatives including the Jack Raife Mental Health Fund, providing over 600 hours of outpatient therapy services in the last year alone.
This scholarship program is now in its second cycle, renewed for 2026.

Voda+ is a mental wellness platform created for LGBTQIA+ individuals. It provides access to guided programmes, tools for managing mental well-being, and culturally competent support developed by LGBTQIA+ therapists.
A Voda+ scholarship gives you 12 months of access to self-care tools for managing stress and anxiety, and support for personal growth. It also includes resources tailored specifically to LGBTQIA+ mental health experiences.
You can redeem your scholarship in just a few steps. We'll send you detailed instructions in the email.
Application questions include your email, where you're based, why you're interested in using the Voda app and an agreement to actively use the app and share feedback for program improvement.
The app is designed to be discreet. The app logo is designed to be simple, and you will not receive notifications on your phone with references to LGBTQIA+ issues. This is because we recognise that many of us might like to receive notifications in a way that is discreet and non-intrusive.
Our audio programmes and wellness exercises often reference LGBTQIA+ issues, and so you might wish to listen to the audio programmes with earphones on, or in a private space where you can listen and journal without being disturbed.
Want to support LGBTQIA+ mental health in rural communities? You can help by donating to expand this scholarship program and enable us to reach even more individuals in need.
